After the whirlwind of Black Friday and Small Business Saturday, my vintage booth was in serious need of a reset. In my latest YouTube video, I’m taking you behind the scenes at The Turned Leg to show what it really looks like to get a booth back in shape after a busy shopping weekend—and I’m sharing one of my favorite recent thrift flips: a clock makeover.
Running an antique and vintage booth is equal parts creativity, problem-solving, and muscle work. After heavy traffic weekends, shelves need restyling, holes need filling, and the whole space needs fresh energy to welcome new shoppers—especially during the holiday season.
Resetting a Vintage Booth After a Busy Weekend
Booth resets are more than just cleaning up—they’re about storytelling. I walk through how I evaluate what sold, what needs moving, and how to rework the layout so shoppers naturally slow down and browse. Small changes can make a huge difference in how long people stay in your booth (and what they buy).
If you’re a vintage dealer, antique booth owner, or even a creative small business owner, this behind-the-scenes look will feel very familiar.
Thrifted Clock Makeover: Turning “Meh” Into a Statement Piece
One of my favorite parts of the video is this thrift flip clock makeover. I love finding overlooked pieces and giving them new life with paint and a little vision. This project is a great example of how a simple update can turn a thrift store find into something special—and sellable.

These kinds of makeovers are what fuel my love for vintage and creative reuse. Saving old things, honoring their character, and making them relevant again never gets old.
Thank you so much for supporting The Turned Leg, shopping small, and following along on this vintage-filled journey.
